What is Same Day Pallet Delivery?
Same day pallet delivery is a dedicated courier service where your pallet is collected and delivered on the same day, using a single vehicle and driver from start to finish. Unlike pallet networks that route your goods through distribution hubs overnight, our same day service means your pallet goes directly from collection point to destination — faster, more secure, and with full visibility throughout.
It’s ideal when standard pallet networks won’t meet your deadline, when goods are too urgent or too valuable for an overnight network, or when you simply need the certainty of knowing exactly when your pallet will arrive.
Pallet Types We Carry
Our fleet can accommodate all standard UK pallet sizes:
- Full pallet — up to 1m x 1.2m base, max 1,000kg, up to 2.2m high
- Euro pallet — 1m x 0.8m base, same height and weight limits
- Half pallet — up to 1.1m high, max 500kg
- Quarter pallet — up to 0.8m high, max 250kg
Not sure which pallet size you need? Call us and we’ll advise on the right vehicle and configuration for your load.
Moving pallets to your customers with your own staff and vehicles can prove to be an expensive cost.
Running your own fleet involves huge costs, driver wages, vehicle hire and purchases, holiday cover, maintenance, depreciation, fuel, insurances, road tax and more.
By using us as your transport provider you only pay for what you need, when you need it.
All our drivers are fully security vetted and carry photo identification.
All vehicles are tracked and fitted with straps to ensure a secure load.
Your goods will be carried in a dedicated vehicle, driven by a fully insured driver
We will ensure that your goods remain with the same driver and vehicle from collection through to delivery, reducing the possibility of damage, loss or delays.

How to Prepare Your Pallet for Collection
Choose the Right Pallet Base
Use a pallet that’s in good condition — no broken boards, no missing blocks, no protruding nails. A damaged pallet is a safety risk for the driver and could cause your load to shift or collapse in transit.
Standard UK pallet dimensions are 1,200mm x 1,000mm. Euro pallets are 1,200mm x 800mm. Make sure your goods don’t overhang the edges of the pallet base — anything overhanging is vulnerable to damage and makes strapping difficult.
If you don’t have a pallet, let us know when you book and we can advise on sourcing one before collection.
Stack Your Load Correctly
Stack goods evenly across the pallet, distributing weight as uniformly as possible. Heavier items go at the bottom, lighter items on top. Avoid creating a top-heavy load — it’s more likely to shift during transit, especially on longer journeys.
Where possible, build a solid block stack rather than leaving gaps or voids within the load. Gaps allow boxes to move and collapse inward under the weight of items above them.
If you’re stacking boxes, align them in a brick pattern — alternating the direction of each layer — to create a more stable structure than column stacking.
Wrap the Load
Once stacked, wrap the entire load in stretch wrap (pallet wrap). Start at the base, overlapping the pallet itself by a few centimetres to anchor the wrap to the pallet, then work upward in overlapping bands covering the full height of the load.
Apply a minimum of two full rotations at the base, middle and top of the load. For heavy or tall loads, wrap three or four times at each level. The wrap should be tight enough that the load feels solid as a single unit — if individual boxes still move when you push them, wrap it again.
Cover the top of the load as well, particularly if goods could be affected by moisture or dust during transit.
Strap the Load
In addition to pallet wrap, all loads should be secured with ratchet straps or pallet banding. Our vehicles are fitted with straps as standard and our drivers will secure the load in the vehicle on collection — but having your own straps applied before collection adds an extra layer of security and demonstrates the load is transit-ready.
Run straps over the top of the load and down the sides, securing to the pallet base. For taller or heavier loads, use two straps crossing diagonally for maximum stability.
Label the Pallet Clearly
Attach a clear, weatherproof delivery label to at least two sides of the pallet — ideally all four. Include the full delivery address, postcode, contact name and phone number. If the load is fragile, heavy, or has specific handling requirements (do not stack, this way up, temperature sensitive), make sure these are clearly marked and visible.
If you’re sending multiple pallets, number them clearly — Pallet 1 of 3, Pallet 2 of 3 etc. — and include the total count on each label.
Special Handling Requirements
Let us know at the time of booking if your pallet has any of the following requirements. For fragile goods we’ll ensure appropriate vehicle loading and positioning. For hazardous materials, certain goods require specific documentation and handling — call us before booking to confirm we can accommodate. For temperature sensitive items, we don’t offer refrigerated transport so please let us know if temperature is a factor so we can advise. If your collection or delivery address has no forklift access, advise us at booking so we can arrange manual handling appropriately. For high value goods, let us know so we can discuss appropriate insurance cover before collection.
Ready for Collection?
Once your pallet is wrapped, strapped and labelled, place it in an accessible location where the driver can reach it without having to navigate obstructions. Ground floor access is ideal. If access is restricted — height barriers, narrow gates, no turning space for a large vehicle — let us know the details when booking so we can send the right vehicle.
